Max’s Surgery – August 2017

By August, it became obvious that Max was going to need surgery on a very sensitive part of his anatomy. Our family physician worked with us to find a suitable hospital with a surgeon who could explain everything well in English. It was a stressful and scary time especially since the issue was time sensitive, but the knowledgable staff and up to date facilities took great care of Max even though they were mystified by the temporary Batman tattoo on his chest. The adventure was over before we knew it. Max healed beautifully, even if he did reuse to wear pants for a solid month afterwards.

Pain took awhile to get under control after the surgery.
